The Woodstock Town Select Board was unanimously in support of Friends of Faulkner Park Vermont hiring Holt Gilmore Surveyors to mark the Town Right of Way (ROW)* along Faulkner Park where it abuts Mountain Avenue. Understanding this overlay will help clarify responsibilities in protecting the Park to dovetail Park preservation, Town Highway Department access, and visitor experience improvements.

The ROW survey has been completed and a preliminary copy has been shared with Woodstock’s Municipal Manager, along with community input providing observations, concerns, suggested improvements, and funding strategies.

*Town Right of Way is a pubic overlay on private property, which allows the municipality the ability to have public roadways and related maintenance.
